Stephanie |
Stephanie is a character in the Princess Principal mobile game Game of Mission. She is a Commonwealth spy.
History[]
When Stephanie was a child she was rejected by her father as unwanted, shunned by her stepmother and her brother-in-law. When she had enough, she runs away from home and ends up in a slum. There she learns to wear a "mask with a smile and a lie". The mask she wears is one of a gentle and affable girl, which she continues to wear even after becoming a spy for the Commonwealth.
When Stephanie became a Commonwealth spy, she was sent to train at the farm in the same class as Sophie McKenzie. After completing training school, she went into the field and as a result has gained much experience as a spy and is good at handling an assortment of firearms. She is currently acting as a spy and student at Queen's Mayfaire Academy for Control as the team leader of Team Cubs. Her current mission by Control is to monitor and report on Team White Pigeon and the members of her team about any suspicious activity. If necessary she is to take out any of her teammates if suspicious activity is deemed to be a threat to the Commonwealth. This would happen to her former teammate Judith who became a mole for the kingdom. It is unclear if Judith was killed or not as she was ordered to be "disposed of" but was never caught by Stephanie or the rest of Team Cubs.
Personality[]
As a girl who grew up not knowing love because of past events, she hides her wounded heart and body with smiles and words. Her natural personality is timid and a little backward compared to the mask she always wears.
Stephanie’s fake personality is very caring and friendly towards others, which has earned her many friends at Queen's Mayfaire Academy. Though she has a severe side that cuts off even close friends if a mission calls for it, showing she is very dedicated to her work. [2]

Stephanie prefers to wear clothes that do not expose her skin, probably as a way to avoid exposing her true feelings and personality.

Sophie and Stephanie are friends, schoolmates, and colleagues. It has been said that their friendship makes Sophie feel "vulnerable." [4] Sophie also likes being pampered by Stephanie. [4]Their relationship was strained when Sophie believed she could not trust Stephanie after Stephanie tried to dispose of their teammate turned traitor Judith.[3]
