Hi there! If you're looking at this page, chances are you haven't wiki edited before but would like to give it a shot. This page contains a quick guide/walkthrough on the basic things you need know in order to get started. Everything together takes about 5-8 minutes.
Also, know that it is fully understandable to make mistakes as a beginning editor, we've all been there. Wiki staff also regularly patrols the changes made to the wiki, so we spot mistakes fast and can often undo them with one click.
Step 1: Preparations[]
Before getting started on editing, remember to look over the PriPri Wiki guidelines. Be sure you know what wiki-editing entails: formal writing, official information and images, etc.
Now that we've looked over the guidelines, it's time to register your account! You can do so on this page. Note that FANDOM only allows you to change your username once, so choose wisely.
Step 2: Making your first edit[]
Find a page you'd like to edit. When you're on the page, you can open the editor by clicking "Edit" next to the title, or by pressing "e" on your keyboard. You're now looking at the visual editor. Things might look a bit intimidating at first, but you'll get used to it before you know it.
At the top you can see the toolbar. With the toolbar you can do just about anything, in order from left-to-right:
- Heading: Create sections and sub-sections.
- Add bold, italics, etc. to text.
- Add new sources and re-use sources that have been used on the page before.
- Add links, add images that are uploaded to the wiki, and upload new images.
Try it out to see how it works. Remember you can always undo things with Ctrl + Z. When you think you're ready, make the change to the page that you had in mind.
When you'd like to save or discard your edit, scroll down to the bottom of the page.
In the edit summary you can write a summary of your edit. Be sure to preview and check your edit first by clicking Show Preview. When you're happy with it, you can Save Changes

On the bottom-left corner you can see a round icon. Hovering over it will give you the following options:
- View Profile : On your Profile you will see your User Page. You can introduce yourself on your User Page and customize it however you want (granted it abides by the guidelines).
- Message Wall : People can send you messages here.
- My Contributions: All the edits you have made to the wiki can be viewed here.
Other handy tips:
- All changes that are made to the wiki can be viewed live on the Recent Changes page. There is a shortcut to this page in the top-right corner next to the search and discussion shortcuts.
- In the top navigation bar, underneath "Explore," there is an option called "Random Page" which randomly leads you to a page. This is useful if you want to find random pages to proofread.
