Mary has a gentle and sweet personality, and a strong sense of Royal obligation; working hard in her duties and studies. However the pressure of being a princess takes quite a toll on her. Mary is shown to be sensitive and easily cried in Crown Handler Chapter 2 when Princess Charlotte started talking about the Duke of Normandy, who is rather strict with Mary.

Mary was born into the Royal Family of Albion from unnamed parents. After an unspecified amount of time, both her parents died. Their cause of death is unknown, though Edward has implied that it was not a natural one. [2] Their passing left Mary without much support, and as the second-in-line for the throne of the Kingdom of Albion. After the assassination of her cousin crown prince Edward, Mary became the first-in-line for the throne.
