The Highlander regiment is a regiment formed mainly by people from the Highlands (an analogue of Scotland) north of the Kingdom of Albion. They are a major part of the Royal Army.
History[]
Like their real-life counterparts, the Highlanders are one of the Kingdom's elite regiments; fighting its battles all over the world. Even after the Revolution in London, the Highlanders remained loyal to the Queen, and continued in the Kingdom's service. It is not known whether or not the Highlands, or part of them, remained part of the Kingdom.
They are famous for blowing bagpipes during their marches, in which they are trained to a quick march of 112 steps per minute.[1] Former members of the regiment are sometimes employed by the Home Office for espionage work; though their distinctive gait can give them away.
