Though this did not stray him from his path of trying to expose the Commonwealth's escape route, showing a more dedicated side.
Eric also displays befitting characteristics of a researcher. When he saw Ange's C-Ball, he was surprised and expressed interest and surprise at it.
History[]
Eric Anderson was a cavorite researcher at a laboratory. When his sister Amy Anderson was poisoned by cavorite and lost her eyesight as a consequence, he was at a loss since he lacked the financial means to support her operation.
It was then that Eric received a letter from the Kingdom's Home Office, written by Public Security Minister Kimble with an offer to work for the Duke of Normandy. [2] Eric would pretended to want to defect over the London Wall, to the Commonwealth, in order to expose the Commonwealth escape route. In return, the costs for Amy's operation would be covered. Eric found it rather suspicious that he received this letter so soon after his sister's accident, implying that he suspected the Kingdom's Home Office to be behind Amy's accident. [2] Regardless, he went along with the Duke's plan.
On the Commonwealth's side of matters, Team White Pigeon was assigned by Control to the mission to help Eric defect. The case would later be titled Case 13: Wired Liar. The team took Eric into custody and hid him at the Queen's Mayfaire Academy until they could safely deliver him to the other side of the wall. Eric then told the girls that he wanted to defect with his sister.

Ange le Carré became suspicious of Eric's situation, however. When investigating Amy in the hospital, she had noticed that the girl's feet were covered in calluses. She subsequently connected this to having seen that Eric was in possession of an acceptance letter for the Royal Ballet Academy: the researcher was not actually planning on defecting. This suspicion was confirmed when Ange and Dorothy saw that Eric sent a messenger pigeon to his employer.
The mission plan was changed accordingly. Dorothy and Chise took care of Public Security Minister Kimble, while Ange took care of Eric. She drove him off to a secluded place, made him sign a death insurance, and then killed him by shooting him and dumped his body in the Thames. When his body was found a week later, she used the money from his life insurance to cover Amy's operation costs.
Relationships[]
Relatives[]
Amy Anderson[]
Amy Anderson is Eric Anderson's younger sister. The two were never shown interacting, but it can be derived that they were on good terms. Eric was willing to go to great lengths to save Amy, and talked positively about her to Team White Pigeon. Amy also referred to her brother as "all that she has left," displaying that she cares about him.
Other[]
Ange le Carré[]
Ange le Carré is a member of Team White Pigeon who was assigned to the mission to help Eric flee over the wall. She and the team initially rescued Eric and hid him at their school. Throughout Eric's hideout, Ange was the primary member of the team to interact with Eric, bringing him his food and occasionally keeping him company.
Ange was also the one who saw through Eric's lie of wanting to defect. This information was furthered to Control. Ange ended up taking Eric to a park at night, where she made him sign a death insurance. She then revealed that most of the personal information she had told him about was a lie before shooting him in the chest multiple times, marking the end of his life. After this she dumped his body into the Thames river to ensure that the insurance company would pay, and used this money to pay for Amy Anderson's operation. This gesture shows that Ange was not completely indifferent to Eric and his sister.
Public Security Minister Kimble[]
Public Security Minister Kimble approached Eric on behalf of the Kingdom's Home Office about working for the Duke of Normandy. Eric found it suspicious that he was reached out to so soon after his sister's accident, implying that he suspected the Kingdom's Home Office to be behind his sister's accident.
