Not much is currently known about the history and discovery of Cavorite. What is known, is that it was monopolised by the Kingdom of Albion at the turn of the 20th century, prior to the London Revolution. But the Commonwealth of Albion is better at utilizing it with their creation the C-Ball and Cavorite Bombs
Derivation[]
Cavorite is derived from mining. A Cavorite mine was first shown in episode four of season one. The operational mines are typically well-guarded and maintained. An abandoned Cavorite mine was also shown in Crown Handler Chapter 1.
After being mined, Cavorite goes through a refining process in a refinery before being used in other applications. [1] To this day, no Cavorite refinery has been shown on-screen.

Poisoning[]
Cavorite has the risk of poisoning humans, dubbed Cavorite poisoning. The ailment mainly affects those who work in Cavorite mines or refineries. [1] The prevailing theory is that it is caused when Cavorite particles or gas attach themselves to the optic nerves. [1] This causes vision impairment and eyes to turn bright green. No other symptoms or consequences of the poisoning have been revealed as of now.
Treatment for Cavorite poisoning is available, but the cost of such an operation is high and not affordable for many. Amy Anderson is currently the only character that is known to have suffered from Cavorite poisoning.
